I was hooked.  Who wouldn't want to "... gaze into the face of God."

 

I was ready to go to Colorado to learn all about it for myself.

 

As luck would have it, (Luck is God making things fall into place for you at just the right time.) when I spoke with a pastor at church; Ron Newberry said that one of our missionaries who is heavily involved in Bible translation had already been sent to investigate the Truth Project first hand.  He said that Jim had just returned and was getting ready to set up one of the 13-week seminars and that I would be one of his first students.

 

Jim Albright and I are well acquainted.  I knew that he was strictly a no-nonsense tell-it-like-it-is kind of guy. He reminds me of Sergeant Joe Friday, "Just the facts, Ma'am."

 

At the time I could only suspect that the Truth Project was going to be such a life-changing event.

 

We started at ground zero and worked our way steadily outward until we had traversed the entire universe.  We were introduced to every imaginable argument against God and His part in the creation that has been advanced by the strongest minds of our era; and, then we heard the responses and truths proclaimed by even more of the finest and strongest minds and theologians that this world currently has to offer.  

 

What a journey.  It's like going to Niagara Falls.  I can tell you about it, but until you have heard the roaring and the incessant thunder and seen and felt the seething cauldron of power and destruction for yourself, there is no way for you to really know how magnificent the falls truly are. Without those sensations Niagara Falls is only a pretty picture, not a life-altering experience.

 

By the time Dr. Del Tackett has guided you through the 12 presentations in the Truth Project you will have received all of the scriptural, historical and scientific knowledge that you will ever need in order to truly "know that you know," You will know for certain what you believe and why you believe it. Most people, who have completed the course, when they reflect on it, realize that they just thought that they had had faith before.

 

 

This is the first time that I have ever felt so strongly about anything other than the Bible itself.
