Reading Leviticus 7  today I asked a question about the Fellowship Offering.


Why offer both bread without yeast and bread with yeast?  What is the significance? Leviticus 7:11-14

In Matthew 13:33  and Luke 13:20-21  Jesus says, "the kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough."

Expressing Faith In Business

The Lord has been blessing me by bringing men of God into my work.  In my previous life, business meetings started with easy banter and the "getting to know you" conversations.  Then one person would start the meeting with, "Lets get started" Or, "Where are we with...?"

Prayer is not one-sided

In this week’s post l’ll share a personal experience and talk a little bit about myself.  This post is in a sense, a continuation of the last two posts.

Many people who know me will say that I am a strong Christian and I have certainly been in the faith for a while. I do basically like ‘staying behind the scenes’ and love writing and sharing God’s word through writing. God is really my passion but there is one thing I always felt guilty about – my prayer life. I admire people that can pray for hours (though I am now realising that when you enjoy God’s presence, you won’t know when you have spent hours in His presence). There is of course nothing wrong in admiring people, but it also made me feel a bit ‘inadequate’.

What will you wear to the wedding?

There are those God has as his chosen people, the Jews.  The Old Testament shows us they have been hard headed and cold hearted.  Yet his love persists.

God gave the Jews many prophets and His son, Christ Jesus as His servant to invite them into his grace - His wedding banquet.

Some were too busy and didn't pay attention and turned down the offer.  Some rebelled and killed the prophets and killed Jesus.

Through His Son, and with help from the Apostles, he then invited anyone on the street (all us Gentiles and sinners) to come to Him; to his wedding banquet.

Some of us accepted His offer and promised to attend.

But what should we wear to His wedding banquet?

Here is my understanding...
